what is the right datatype to store the hours and minutes part in the database?
i found some info which says we have to convert the duration(hrs and min) into minutes and then store
is it the right approach?

Thanks to a friend on vbforums.com i have solved this
I will be using integer to store minutes i.e i will be converting hours into miniutes and storing
and will conver it back when needed
